We are over 5,500 New York City restaurant workers uniting to fight injustice in the restaurant industry. If you are a past, present, or aspiring restaurant worker interested in building worker power to improve wages and working conditions in the restaurant industry, join us!
Through the New York Restaurant Industry Roundtable, ROC-NY brings together restaurant employers, workers, and consumers who meet regularly to develop and share strategies that will help restaurants of all sizes take the “high road” to profitability, and who are setting the trend for integrity, respect, and good working conditions in the New York City restaurant industry.
Consumers are important allies in our work to improve conditions in the restaurant industry. Our goal is to encourage diners everywhere that a just and sustainable food system includes fair working conditions for the workers who cook, prepare, and serve our food. If you eat out, join our movement!
The Restaurant Opportunities Center of New York is a membership-based workers’ center organizing for improved conditions for New York City restaurant workers.
