On December 19th, 2011, the CHOW Institute celebrated its 5th Anniversary with many of our members and supporters.

Over the past 5 years, we have trained over 1,500 since 2007 in one of the few free programs for Front of the House and Back of the House/Culinary Arts restaurant skills. Moreover, many have overcome substantial barriers and obtained gainful employment in over 50 different restaurants and hotels throughout the New York City area.

With your continued support, we hope to continue the tradition of being a source of support to our members including many with employment barriers. To our students, C.H.O.W. offers in-depth Hard and Soft Skills training with job development support to prepare them for gainful employment in the industry.
